Effective August 29, 2019, ALL COS-C Exams administered at computer-based testing sites or via proctored paper and pencil administrations will utilize a new exam version updated to include OASIS-D1 guidance.
Established in 2004, the Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) Exam is the premier nationally standardized, psychometrically validated test that evaluates a clinician’s knowledge of CMS’ OASIS guidance.
Candidates achieving a successful result on the Exam will be awarded the COS-C designation. The designation is valid for three years, with retesting required for renewal.
