On April 30, 2020, the Home Health Compare (HHC) site was updated for the April 2020 quarterly refresh. A change that occurred with the April refresh is that the outcome measure, “Improvement in Pain Interfering with Activity” has been removed from HHC and the Quality of Patient Care (QoPC) Star Ratings.
In July 2020, there will NOT be a refresh of Home Health Compare, including the Quality of Patient Care Star Ratings. Because of this change, CMS did not release Home Health Provider Preview Reports or Quality of Patient Care Provider Star Rating Preview Reports in March.
The next scheduled refresh for HHC and the QoPC Star Rating will be in October 2020. This means the data published for April 2020 will remain in place until the October 2020 refresh.
In late June 2020, Provider Preview Reports and Quality of Patient Care Star Rating Provider Preview Reports for the October 2020 refresh will be available.
