The Hospice Outcomes & Patient Evaluation (HOPE) tool is now required for all Medicare-certified hospices, and accuracy isn’t optional—it’s essential. HOPE training equips your team with the knowledge and confidence to collect and code data correctly, reduce compliance risk, and strengthen quality scores that directly impact your agency’s reputation.
HOPE in Action training is ideal for agency-wide HOPE education, or for focused prep for the Certificate for HOPE Specialist-Clinical (CHS-C) Exam.
OASIS Answers, Inc. (OAI) has been a trusted leader in provider training for patient assessment data collection since 1999. Our HOPE instructors bring deep insights, expertise, real-world examples, and a supportive approach to help you apply what you learn immediately.
Experience the most engaging way to prepare for the CMS Hospice HOPE tool. HOPE in Action: In-Person Training provides hospice professionals with a focused, distraction-free learning environment led by nationally recognized OASIS Answers experts. This face-to-face format offers the unique benefit of real-time interaction—ask your specific questions, gain immediate feedback, and participate in discussions that bring HOPE guidance to life.
Unlike self-paced options, in-person HOPE training ensures your team stays fully engaged, with the opportunity to learn directly from instructors who helped shape national HOPE education. Each session emphasizes accurate HOPE data collection, coding conventions, and compliance with CMS requirements, so you leave not only informed, but confident in applying HOPE guidance within your daily hospice practice.
Every registration includes a comprehensive printed training handout, an essential resource that continues to support you long after the course ends. This handout also doubles as a valuable reference during the open-book CHS-C Exam, making in-person training the best option for those who want to pair learning with certification preparation.
