Our instructors use their many years and varied home healthcare experiences to illustrate concepts, answer questions, and guide attendees easily through multiple application scenarios and a mock exam.

Linda has worked in the home health and post-acute care sector for more than 30 years. For the past 20 years she has led the OASIS Answers’ team’s work on several multi-year CMS contracts, including work on the quality reporting programs for home health, hospice, inpatient rehab facilities, long term care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. CMS support has included patient assessment instrument development and refinement, guidance development and production of related guidance manuals, quality measure development and reporting, provider training, stakeholder help desk management and development and refinement of the Star Rating program and the Home Health Value-Based Purchasing model. Linda was a founding partner in the OASIS COS-C Certification program in 2004 and remains as the program’s Chair. She serves as Founder and Chair of the HOPE CHS-C Certification program. Heather is a Licensed Master Social Worker with 25 years of clinical and administrative hospice experience. For over 12 years, she led the national Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program for 100+ hospice providers across rural and urban settings. Her roles have also included serving as National Director of Hospice Quality & Patient Experience, leading a team of 20+ professionals driving quality improvement and regulatory readiness across 100+ hospice and palliative care provider locations nationwide. Heather is an Associate Consultant with OASIS Answers, Inc.

Melanie is a registered nurse with over 23 years of experience in the post-surgical setting, home health and hospice. She is experienced and active in managing clinical compliance auditing teams for multiple agency sites to ensure regulatory and billing compliance for home health and hospice. She serves on the national Advisory Committee for Post Acute Care Measure Review and on the Alliance for Home Care’s Home Health and Hospice Advisory Councils. Melanie is an Associate Consultant with OASIS Answers.
