Dear Rocketship

The website is great, but there there a few changes to the stylesheet that could improve things. We use the standard WordPress editor, not Elementor, when creating blog posts. We use Elementor when creating new, custom pages. When we use Elementor, bullets don’t show up, even though the text is indented. Bullets do show up on bulleted lists when using the native WordPress editor, but text isn’t indented.

Here’s an overview of the requested changes:

  1. Review H tags – It would be good to have a design review of the headings. See examples below.
  2. Bulleted lists – Bullets need to be indented and the issue with line breaks
  3. Blog categories – list of blog categories finalized but new categories don’t show up on live site
  4. Mobile site – need to add a link to the Blog and Calendar on the mobile site
  5. Unlisted pages – Need the ability to keep certain pages from showing in search results (no follow)
  6. Customization of new pages – Difficult to create new pages

HEADINGS: This is an H4. It should be bolded because it’s hard to read. It’s the most commonly used header tag on blog posts because the others are very large.

The paragraph text that comes below is too close the headline. Add some breathing room between the heading and the paragraph text to make it more readable.

This is an H3 tag. It’s big and needs space around it.

This is placeholder text to show you the spacing between the paragraph and the heading. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

  • This is a bullet. It should be indented.
  • This is a second bullet point, just to show you the natural space that happens between bullet points. No problem here.
    • This is a sub bullet. It has a line break below it that can’t be modified.
  • This is a 4th bullet point I created before creating the sub bullet. You’ll see that there is too much space under second-level bullet.

This is text that follows a bulleted list. There is a line break after the bullet point. No problem here. Now let’s look at numbered lists. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.

  1. This is my first numbered bullet. It should be indented.
    1. This is my sub bullet and it should be a letter or lowercase roman numerals
    2. This is the second sub bullet
  2. This is another numbered bullet and it looks good too.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam.

This is an H2 tag and it’s very big.

Blog categories:

The first two blog posts on the blog page are using a new category called “HHVBP.” The category will not display on the blog page on the individual posts. There’s also a category “HHQRP.” I removed “hospice” and “new information.”

The blog categories are as follows. We don’t foresee the need for more at this time.

  • News
  • Coding
  • COS-C Exam
  • HHQRP
  • HHVBP
  • OASIS

Private Pages

This page is for Rocketship, but I have no way of making it not indexed by search engines. I also have a page on the site that’s a landing page for Google Ads, and no way of adding to add nofollow, noindex to a page.

New Page Customization

When we create new pages, they’re usually not meant to show up in search engines. This page is a landing page for Google Ads, but it was very difficult to create using Elementor. The widgets do not work when added. On the backend I can see the INSTANT Book testimonials widget, but it doesn’t show up on the front end. The social icons at the top are wonky. The header image doesn’t extend across the top as it does on other pages. This page is tempermental and the line breaks have to be adjusted each time it’s opened, so if you do edit it, please adjust the line breaks around the headings back to their original state.

Here’s an example of another page created by OAI. We need the ability to create a standard templated page that’s easy to use and produces a good looking page like the rest of the site.
