30-Day Public Comment Period Now Open

Under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), on June 14, 2024, CMS opened a 30-day public comment period for review of the OASIS-E1 instrument. All are invited to submit comments related to the estimated burden and other aspects of the proposed OASIS-E1 data collection.

As a reminder, the OASIS–E1 instrument includes changes related to addition of one item supporting an assessment-based quality measure (QM), removal of one item due to retirement of a QM, and removal of two data elements no longer used in the HH QRP or for other purposes in CMS programs.

Comments may be sent electronically or by regular mail. For additional information and instructions please reference the Federal Register website. The comment period is open for 30 days and all comments must be received by July 15, 2024.
