Register for a Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy workshop early to secure a spot, get the best price, and have some fun in the sun!
Maybe it’s the 6 inches of snow I just shoveled off my driveway or the -5-degree windchill, but Phoenix in February sounds like heaven! As luck would have it, OASIS Answers is holding our Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy 2-day trainings in Phoenix, Arizona, February 7-8 with the Certificate for OASIS Specialist- Clinical (COS-C) exam offered on February 9th.
Just to indulge myself a little, I took a peek at what was happening in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area near those dates. Most events are the weekend before the class, but wouldn’t we all give up a few extra days in Phoenix for the sake of OASIS accuracy! I’m sitting here in multiple layers of clothes and snow boots and I’m still cold! Humor me in this fantasy! Here is what I found:
February 2-4: Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival – Thunderbird Artists, producer of award-winning fine art and wine festivals, lines the banks of the Scottsdale Waterfront with the greatest selection of juried fine arts, fine wines, delectable chocolates and musicians in the Southwest for the Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival. Waterfront is the most sophisticated and stylish community located in the heart of Downtown Scottsdale. (20-minute drive from Blueprint hotel)
February 3: Parada de Sol Parade – Since its start in 1953, the Parada del Sol has grown to be one of the world’s longest horse-drawn parades and boasts more than 100 entries, including floats, bands and individual riders. In Old Town Scottsdale. (35-minute drive from Blueprint hotel)
February 3-4: Kierland Fine Art & Wine Festival – This festival features more than 100 world-class artists, 15 of the region’s best wineries pouring more than 150 different wines, dozens of dining options, and live musical entertainment. In Kierland Commons. (35-minute drive from Blueprint hotel)
February 3- March 31 – Arizona Renaissance Festival – Don’t miss raucous revelry at the annual Arizona Renaissance Festival. The Arizona Renaissance Festival is a medieval amusement park, a 16-stage theater, a 50-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a jousting tournament and a feast — all rolled into one non-stop, day-long family adventure. (50-minute drive from Blueprint hotel)
February 5-11: Waste Management Phoenix Open Golf Tournament – Annually sporting the largest crowds on the PGA Tour, the Waste Management Phoenix Open has gained legendary status for being unlike any other golf tournament. (35-minute drive from Blueprint hotel)
Any dates: Best Hikes in Phoenix – There’s a great trail for every skill level within a short drive from anywhere in Greater Phoenix. (Just walk out the door!)
If you do nothing more, just dream a little with me on this one. We do hope to see you in Phoenix. Such a good mix of business and pleasure! The last date for the regular registration rate is Wednesday, January 28, 2024.
