Have you been considering sitting for the COS-C Exam but aren’t sure how to begin preparing or what material would be helpful? This blog series discusses who should consider sitting for the exam, what materials you might find helpful to have at hand when studying and sitting for the exam, some tips for preparing for the exam, and provides a breakdown of the COS-C Exam.

Preparing for the Exam

To prepare for the COS-C Exam, test-takers should familiarize themselves with the OASIS guidance. Test-takers will always want to utilize the most recent OASIS guidance available. The following are great resources to use when preparing for the exam:

Since this is a lot of material to review, OASIS Answers has some resources that might be helpful for exam prep including:

Taking the Exam

The COS-C Exam is an open book exam. This means that you can bring in any printed OASIS reference material. If you have a copy of the OASIS INSTANT Book you can bring that to the exam. If you have recently attended a Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy program you can bring the handout that you received during the program. The key is to make sure you are comfortable using that materials you choose to bring and ensure they contain current OASIS guidance.
